"when you're in love, it shows."

there is that one, simple statement. "when you're in love, it shows." can people really see the love i believe i have? when i walk into a room, does love radiate from me? 1 John 4:8 says "whoever does not know love doesn't know God because God is love." ouch. this is saying that if we aren't filled with an unending love for the savior, and those people who hurt us, or annoy us to no end, then we don't know the God of the universe. it's challenging. sometimes i think we worship this little tiny god who lives in our heads-this god that we only think is the king above all kings. but in reality, we're making this big, all-mighty, loving, merciful God (who in fact is bigger and more powerful than anything we can imagine) into a tiny little god whom we only use as a fortuneteller-type god. in reality, we have no clue. we forget to rest in and stand in awe of the beautiful God who loves us more than we could EVER imagine. He calls us into a love relationship with Him. THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE HIMSELF! once we get a taste of His love. we'll realize that's all we really need. :)

coach Monsun is my 3rd period health teacher. he's so kind and caring towards his students. he talks about his wife in such a sweet manner. you can tell he's truly in love with her. he always tells us that "i know i don't deserve here," "she's the most beautiful girl in the world." what a sweet guy! today we were watching a movie in that class called Supersized. before he played the movie in a sympathetic voice he said  "i'm so sorry but this movie has 6 swear words... i'll try my best to skip through those." wow. other students of course would say "it's no big deal, we hear those words everyday." and that's true... my ears are drowned in terrible language all day. but coach truly cared about what we listened to. thanks to him, that's 6 less swear words i have to listen to today. i'm so thankful for a teacher who walks in the ways of the Lord.
